Minjilang students paint spirited mural

25 September 2017

The talented students at Mamaruni School on Croker Island have created an incredible mural outside the toilet block recently.
The students spent a week with mural artist Jimmy, who taught them how to make stencils and practice with the spray paint.
Once students felt confident they started to paint the wall.
There were some students who excelled and they became the ‘A team’, taking the lead and completing the final touches to designs.
While the mural, which is now a proud feature at the school, was being designed and painted, the rest of the school worked with Morganics to write their own song and record their music video.
The mural became the perfect backdrop for our video.
The values and school motto are now proudly on display for everyone to see.
