2019 Kakadu Triathlon date set for May

The seventh annual Kakadu Triathlon will be back in Jabiru on Saturday, 11 May 2019.
The organising committee is encouraging all residents to save the date as this year’s event is set to be another highlight on the calendar which will also raise vital funds for CareFlight.
This exciting, colourful and entertaining triathlon attracts participants from around Jabiru and Kakadu as well as those from Darwin and Katherine.
2019’s event will run in the same format involving the open triathlon and duathlon and the junior racing skills with the event circuit incorporating the town pool and streets of Jabiru.
The triathlon and duathlon includes those over 14 years of age and the junior skills events are for those under 14 (ages as at 31 December 2018.)
As well as bringing the community together and enticing visitors to Kakadu, the event has raised in excess of $50,000 for CareFlight helicopter rescue service over the past five years, with almost $15,000 raised in 2017.
