Celebrating Minjilang Day with bush tucker

The people of Minjilang held a community event in January to celebrate ‘Minjilang Day’.
The exciting event included West Arnhem Regional Council’s (WARC) Youth, Sport and Recreation team facilitating volleyball, which the adults and children enjoyed. 
There was also a community barbecue and the team joined in young people to collect bush tucker. 
This included crabs, mussels and fish. 
WARC Wellbeing Coordinator Leah Holt said, “Our community enjoyed our Minjilang day”.
The day was supported by the Australia Day Council NT.
