Community unites for Jabiru Children's Christmas Party

The Jabiru community once again came together to celebrate the festive season at the 2018 Kakadu Community Christmas Party and a great time was had by all on December 1.
This special event is only made possible by the generosity of community members and local organisations and businesses.

Also a huge thanks to volunteers that helped putting the whole event together, especially to Santa, Trish, Alicia, Learne and all the drivers that helped with the pickups in town and outstations, James Bowyer for the amazing cake, Andy Ralph for another great MC-eing, Peter Keepence for taking pictures, Noelee Mitchell and Taznie for helping with registration and T-Shirts, Jabiru Childcare staff for helping with all the presents and assisting with the land inflatables, Rachel Martin for looking after all the logistics the day before, Stu Whitby for DJ-ing, Daz, Joel, Trish, Julie, Adam, Bryce and the other volunteers that helped with the Pool inflatable, Jabiru Firies for bringing Santa safe and sound from the North Pole, Clontarf for dropping marquees and eskies, Costi, Anna, Leona, Ashley (from far away), Dingers, Brooke D, Amanda, Paul and Vicky, Julie, Jade, Rachel M, and everyone else who assisted in any way during the day and planning stages.
