Gunbalanya half court resurface

The Gunbalanya Youth Centre’s half basketball court has recently been resurfaced with a fresh new flooring.
West Arnhem Regional Council undertook the resurfacing prior to the wet season due to the existing concrete surface becoming slippery and unsafe for use in rainy weather.
The multipurpose space has since been resurfaced with appropriate flooring and re-line marked.
As the facility is undercover, the courts can be used all-year round by the youth in the community.
The works were carried out by Advanced Sporting Surfaces and funded by West Arnhem Regional Council’s capital reserve.
