28 May 2020

Injalak Arts in Gunbalanya are very proud and excited to announce that Injalak artists Don Namundja and Titus Nganjmirra (both pictured right) are 2020 Telstra Telstra National Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Art Awards (NATSIAA) finalists.
These awards, which are Australia’s longest-running and most prestigious indigenous art awards, give artists the opportunity to showcase their works to a national and international audience.
Don Namundja was previously selected for the prestigious National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Art Awards in 2003, 2005, 2006 and more recently in 2014. In 2020, Don is a finalist in the Telstra Works on Paper Category.
Titus Nganmirra was a winner last year taking home the Telstra Emerging Artist Award for his painting of Queen Elizabeth II. This year Titus is a finalist in the Telstra Bark Painting Category.
