New Gunbalanya playground almost complete

Progress is continuing on the new children’s playground for the Gunbalanya community to enjoy very soon.
West Arnhem Regional Council (WARC) have been continuing this important project with the hard structure recently complete.
The new playground equipment has been installed, concrete kerb edge around the hard structure and the sand soft fall area are also complete.
Solar lighting and bollards will be the remaining finishing touches on the project which is expected to be complete by end of May, pending works.
Strongly supported and funded by the Gunbalanya Local Authority and NIAA, the community was at the heart of this major project with the end result being a lovely new playground for the children to enjoy.
