New playground progresses in Gunbalanya

Progress of the new Gunbalanya playground is well underway.
Funded by the Gunbalanya Local Authority and ABA grant funding, West Arnhem Regional Council (WARC) is excited that construction of the new children’s playground is taking shape.
To date, works have included cleaning and painting existing hard structures, removing the existing playground equipment and fabrication of the new playground equipment and the hard shade structure.
The end result will include a colourful playground with a number of climbable obstacles and other features to entice children in the community. Solar lights and bollards will also be installed.
Strongly supported and funded by the Gunbalanya Local Authority, everyone involved is excited to see this project come to life and completed for the people of Gunbalanya.
