New signage supports water wise campaign

In conjunction with Power and Water, West Arnhem Regional Council have been installing water usage signage around the Warruwi community to help educate community members to be more ‘water wise’.
With low rainfall during the latest wet season, it is more important than ever to minimise water usage on the island to reduce the demand of this precious source.
There are many ways we all can save water to help our community.
The Warruwi school is also undertaking educational activities with children to ensure water saving is part of our every day community life.
