Upgrades to important support service facility

West Arnhem Regional Council (WARC) continues to provides important support services in Gunbalanya through the Women’s Safe House.
In order to continue to support the community with this service, WARC recently completed some much-needed internal refurbishments to the facility.
Greenspace undertook the refurbishment work and in conjunction with community support, completed the work within a week including painting, replacing the ceiling lining throughout and installing new fans and light fixtures.
WARC recognises the importance of providing a safe and secure place for families and this refurbishment further ensures they get the care they need in an environment that is comfortable.
This project was funded in response to a WARC business case to direct surplus grant funding towards upgrading the Safe House.
