Warruwi community celebrates International Women's Day

The Warruwi community celebrated International Women’s Day on Thursday, March 8 with a morning tea at the women’s centre.
Traditional Owner Jenny Inmulugulu said, "this is the first time we have celebrated Women's Day in our community, it was a good opportunity to share stories with all the women. Women are special.”
There was a great turnout with lots of organisations taking part such as the West Arnhem Regional Council, Primary School staff, Yagbani's staff, Ajurumu shop, Aged Care, NT Legal Aid Commission and HK Training and Consultancy as well as lots of community members.
A great morning was shared to celebrate such a special day.
