Warruwi Crèche and Community Care Open Day

25 June 2020

Warruwi Crèche and Community Care recently held an ‘Open Day’ to give parents, carers, residents and stakeholders in the community the opportunity to pop in and see what happens at the centre on a day-to-day basis.
While providing a free barbecue to the wider community, this event also aimed at building connections and relations with the people in the community.
During the day, the Warruwi Crèche had the chance to showcase all of the fantastic things happening at the centre, engage with potential new families and display the children’s artwork.
West Arnhem Regional Council (WARC) Community Care team member Nigel Guyula (pictured right) also attended, promoting the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and showing the community that WARC provide important services to both aged care and disability clients in the community.
Overall, the day was a success with West Arnhem Regional Council staff also coming together to pitch in and help with the barbecue.
