Minjilang Basketball team represent West Arnhem at Northern Cup

A group of young basketball players from Minjilang went to Batchelor in June to represent West Arnhem in the Northern Cup.

The participants were incredibly excited to take on the two-day regional basketball tournament which included regional and remote Territory teams. West Arnhem Regional Council Sport and Recreation Officer Matthew Nagarlbin did a great job supporting the team at the competition and organising all the permission slips and conversations with the families beforehand.

“They didn’t win but they had so much fun,” said Matty.

The program was supported by the NT Government.
