New playground under way in Gunbalanya

West Arnhem Regional Council (WARC) is excited to commence construction of the new children’s playground for the Gunbalanya community to enjoy.
Strongly supported and funded by the Gunbalanya Local Authority, the community was at the heart of this major project with the end result being a lovely new playground for the children to enjoy.
To date, Council has cleaned and painted the existing hard structures and removed former playground equipment, meanwhile the fabrication of the new playground equipment and hard structure is under way. 
The entire project scope consists of installing the new playground and equipment as well as new solar lights and bollards.
The new playground will be packed with a range of challenging activities where adventure and fun await the kids of Gunbalanya.
The tender for this project was awarded to JMK (NT).
