Flypast to honour Anzacs

WEST Arnhem Regional Council will mark the centenary of the Anzac landings at Gallipoli with a Centenary March in Jabiru and RAAF flypasts over four communities. In a special event organised by the Council and the Australian Defence Force, three RAAF AF/A-18A Hornets will fly low and fast over Anzac Day services in Jabiru, Gunbalanya, Minjilang and Warruwi from 8.30am Saturday, 25 April 2015.Read more

Alive and kicking in Minjilang

Minjilang came to life from 23-27 July, as Minjilang Healthy Lifestyle Week brought the local community together to learn about the benefits of quitting smoking and a how to live a healthy lifestyle. As one young man said, “the community has not been this busy, active and fun for long time”. The week delivered heaps of healthy activities ranging from the Skinny Fish Movie Night to the Master Chef Community Cook Ups.Read more
