Bininj Kunwok language course starting soon

08 October 2020

The Bininj Kunwok Regional Language Centre in conjunction with Charles Darwin University are pleased to offer an online course teaching the language and culture of the Bininj people of Kakadu National Park and West Arnhem Land.
This special short (4 week) course is being provided specifically for staff of Kakadu National Park, and will also include some additional information about the Kundjeyhmi language.
The online course is open to anyone to join.
By the end of the course, participants will be able to engage in simple conversations with Bininj, with a strong focus on family connections.
Each topic includes vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, reading, cultural information and activities.
This is largely the same as the previous short course offered earlier in 2020, and the beginning of the CDU semester course.
