Budding boxers learn from the best

Twenty budding boxers from Jabiru and outstation communities took part in a boxing clinic conducted by one of Australia’s top up and coming Pugilists, on Friday, January 27.
‘Diamond Dave’ Toussaint from Canberra offered to put on a free clinic for the youth of the region while visiting his mother Kim in Jabiru.
The morning commenced with some training videos in the Jabiru Clontarf room before participants were taught the finer points of stance, footwork, punch combinations and defence.
The hot training session finished with a cool swim and a barbecue donated by West Arnhem Regional Council.
