Community supports bushfire appeal

Jabiru turned out on Sunday, March 1 to support the Jabiru Bushfire Appeal at the Jabiru Golf Club.

Through a combined effort, more than $11,300 was raised to help The Australian Lions Foundation and Rural Aid Australia. Organisers wish to thank all who attended as well a those that dug deep to buy (and sell) raffle tickets.
Thanks to individuals and organisations who donated something towards the raffle.  
Thanks to those people who donated their prize back to be raffled to raise even more money!
Thank you to PK and the Golf Club staff for putting on a great venue, and thanks to President Bryce (our MC who kept us entertained).

Thank you to the Jabiru Firies for your brilliant culinary skills and selling burgers and snags.

Huge thanks to Playgroup for baking yummy goods for sale and donating all proceeds to the cause.
