Liesaving machine installed in Gunbalanya

A lifesaving device has been installed at West Arnhem Regional Council’s office carpark in Gunbalanya and is accessible 24 hours in the event of an emergency!
The emergency defibrillator (Automated External Defibrillator or AED) is an important asset for the community and has been made possible by the strong support of Red Lily Health Board, St John’s Ambulance and West Arnhem Regional Council.
Photographed is Ron Mangiru, Bernadette Wombo, Kellum Steele and Andrew Garbe who have been nominated to complete the online training to assist in the event of an emergency.
This is an awesome lifesaving device and a great asset to the Gunbalanya community!
Other AED units will be installed in West Arnhem communities and outstations very soon.
