Linking support services with community members

West Arnhem Regional Council (WARC) representatives from Maningrida, Gunbalanya, Minjilang and Warruwi participated in a two day Vulnerable People & Mandatory Reporting course via Starleaf earlier this year. 
The training was provided by Two Two One – a Mental Health Charity based in Darwin.  
The training will allow WARC employees to train their staff locally to have the skills to identify vulnerable people within the community who may need some extra support or help to access local support services. 
Further, WARC employees who have completed this training will be able to complete Mandatory Reporting. The vision is that many more locally based WARC employees will receive this training to benefit each individual community.
