Maningrida Local Authority supports resurface of half basketball court

The Maningrida half basketball court has been resurfaced much to the joy of the community!
Proudly funded by the Maningrida Local Authority, this project was very important to the community with basketball being a positive outlet for young and old people which foster health and wellbeing and social recreation.
This will be of great benefit to all patrons using the facility as the concrete surface alone can be very slippery during the wet season and become a safety issue.
The court's surface is now non-slip which is will make play much safer and easier on the feet.
