New members visit West Arnhem

COU_Council Meeting Guests Member for Arafura Lawrence Costa, WARC Mayor Lothar Siebert, Central Desert Regional Council President Adrian Dixon and Member for Arnhem Selena Uibo.

The newly-elected Member for Arnhem Selena Uibo and Member for Arafura Lawrence Costa attended West Arnhem Regional Council’s Ordinary Meeting held on Wednesday, October 12.
The new members of the Northern Territory Government took questions from councillors relating to local issues, including fracking and law and order in West Arnhem communities. Other issues discussed were education, housing in remote communities, housing standards and housing funding. Central Desert Regional Council President Adrian Dixon also attended the meeting.
