New playground equipment at Jabiru Lake

The Jabiru Lake Park has received a grand facelift and lots of added colour following recent upgrades.
As part of the Jabiru Beautification project, the Jabiru Lake Park now features new playground equipment in place of the former kids play area.
To beautify the lovely park space, brightly coloured shade sails will also be installed over the play equipment to provide additional shade and comfort for children and visitors.
With the Jabiru Lake Park being a central location to meet and socialise, West Arnhem Regional Council hopes these upgrades continue to attract and support the families, visitors and community groups who visit the area.
Funded by the Northern Territory Government and Director of National Parks, West Arnhem Regional Council (WARC) will be rolling out specific beautification works over the next 5 months which will support local tourism and enhance the visitor experience as Jabiru transitions to a tourism economy.
