New shade of pink for cause

31 January 2017

There has been a new shade of pink on Energy Resources of Australia (ERA) site roads over the last couple of months.
The pink truck tray was an initiative of former ERA Mining Superintendent David Harvey to help raise awareness of breast cancer support and research on site.
Chris Hattingh, Manager Mining and Infrastructure said ERA were proud to support David’s idea.
“We hope the pink truck will encourage our staff, visitors, contractors and the wider community to continue to support those affected by cancer and to support important lifesaving research efforts,” Chris said.
According to the National Breast Cancer Foundation one-in-eight Australian women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime.
Around one in 700 men will also be diagnosed with breast cancer.
