Repairs to Minjilang Crèche under way

Work has commenced on repairing the Minjilang Crèche which is being completed by Stedman’s Constructions.

The Minjilang crèche is a very important facility to all community members, which supports very young children and their families and carers.

The roof has been experiencing terrible water leaks over the past 4 years which resulted in our crèche temporarily closing in December 2022. 

The crèche relocated to the school for a small period of time and then shifted to the community building. Unfortunately, this building was not viable so the crèche had to close.

West Arnhem Regional Council will begin to advertise for staff in the near future, so the crèche will be set to open with new staff onboard when work is completed. This is expected to be done by 30 June 2024.
