A showcase of skills at Warruwi school sports carnival

West Arnhem Regional Council’s (WARC) Youth, Sport and Recreation team in Warruwi worked with the school to help facilitate the annual sports carnival recently. A number of sporting events took place from throughout the day and there was a good turnout of community members. 
The team help organise the students on the day and help out with the traditional events such as shot put, discus, javelin, high jump, long jump, 100 and 200m races. 
The WARC works crew also got involved with support from the Council Services Manager Steve Dawkins. A great day was had by all - thank you to all school staff and the students!
