'Tis the season for celebration

MAYOR Lothar Siebert, Chief Executive Officer Brian Hylands, Councillors and staff at West Arnhem Regional Council extend their warmest wishes to residents and stakeholders across our region over the Christmas period.

Mayor Siebert said at this time of year, family members from communities and outstations were joining together in a celebration of the spirit of giving, and in contemplation of the year ahead.

“No matter who you are, or where you live, you can’t beat spending quality time with your family over Christmas,” Mayor Siebert said.

“On behalf of Council, I wish you and your family all the best and we look forward to seeing you in the New Year.

“As we move into 2016, WARC and its Councillors will continue to strive to provide the best possible services to our residents and stakeholders.

“We look forward to working with all the agencies across our region in the days and years ahead to achieve our common goals.

“I hope the New Year is about building stronger communities and providing real employment and development opportunities for all of our residents.”
