LED street light installation throughout Gunbalanya

The Gunbalanya community is brighter than ever following the installation of 40 new-tech LED street lights around the public areas recently.
Funded by Gunbalanya’s Local Authority, the work was carried out by West Arnhem Regional Council staff with plenty of consultation going into deciding each light location around the community. 
The installation of the new solar lights will certainly provide brighter lighting in areas which were previously unlit; increasing public safety and deterring anti-social behaviour.
With the lights operated by solar panel, public lighting expenses will greatly reduce in the community as well. 
This project is part of WARC’s strategic goal to deliver quality street lights with increased longevity, low maintenance costs and reduced power bills across all West Arnhem communities.
